Priyamani raised and was born in Bangalore. Priyamani was born to Latha Mani Iyer and Vasudeva Mani Iyer. She modelled for Lakshmi silks, Erode silks and Kancheepuram silks during her school years. Tamil Manager, Bharathiraja introduced the film industry and her when she was in the 12th Standard. Her dad who hails from a Tamil Iyer family from Palakkad possesses a plantation company, and her mom, former national badminton player was a bank manager at Union bank. She’s Vishakh who’s in the plantation company with her dad, an elder brother. While at school she participated in sports and in extracurricular activities. She attended Bishop Cotton Women’s College in J C Road and did her education. Priyamani modeled for print ads after finishing her education. She began her movie career in Kollywood called Kangalal Kaithu Sei alongside celebrity Vaseegaran with her debut movie. The movie was a flop at the box office and she moved on to Telugu and Malayalam movies owing to too little offers in Tamil movies. She made her Telugu introduction with Jagapati Babu in Pellaina Kothalo. Priyamani climbed to popularity with this movie. Her Tamil comeback has been made by Priyamani with the worldwide acclaimed Tamil movie Paruthiveeran. She’s also signed on for another Tamil movie where she plays the lead character with celebrity Jeevan.. She subsequently made her debut with Sathyam in the Malayalam film industry, but this movie performed badly at the box office. Tamil film director and cinematographer Balu Mahendra signed her to play in the drama Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam that was 2005. Before release, Babith said “Priyamani has produce a great performance in the film. In the Telugu movie Pellaina Kothalo, Priyamani starred in 2006. The movie got her three Telugu movies and was a superb success.
