She was born on 10 August 1973 in Tamil Nadu. She completed her studies in Tamil Nadu. She started her career as a child artist and acted in 34 films in Telugu and Tamil. She started her career from 1979 and mostly she acted in a boy character. In 2017 she acted in a kannada film and took a break. She was in love with Sunil garu and when they were travelling he died in an accident. And after some years she was married to producer Ramu. They have one son and one daughter. Ramu Garu also died recently due to Covid. She was posting some of the pictures with her husband and living by remembering his memories.
