Television Queen Suma Kanakala was born in Kerala on 22nd March 1974. Suma parents are Sri.P.N. Kutty and Smt. P. Vimala. Her parents moved to Hyderabad for a long time. As we all know she is the wife of Rajeev Kanakala. She started her career at the age of 21 years as host to many audio functions.

It is said that Suma even acted in one or two Malayalam movies in her early stages of the career. She has won many awards for her outstanding anchoring and spontaneous humour. She literally dominated the Television shows for the past few decades. She has earned many fans  and respect for her well behaved and clean hosting in all her shows.
