Laya is an actress and also a trained dancer. She started her career as a child actress with the film Bhadram Koduko and made her debut as a lead actress with the film Swayamvaram. In 2006 she tied a knot with Sri Ganesh and the couple has a son named Vachan and a daughter named Shloka. After her wedding, she settled in the US and ran a dance academy. Recently, she shared her family pictures on her social media account and the photos shared by Laya went viral on social media.
